Why cook on titanium?
It contains nothing toxic, food releases from it without any coating, and it is tougher than stainless steel while weighing less than cast iron. Ceramic and PTFE surfaces eventually chip or peel; titanium has no layer to lose, so it keeps performing year after year.
Is the cooking surface 100% titanium?
Yes. Everything your food touches is pure titanium, the same inert metal surgeons use for implants, so nothing migrates into a meal. Underneath sits a stainless steel base whose only job is to spread the heat evenly.
Will food stick without a coating?
Very little. The hand-finished surface is textured like a lotus leaf, which helps eggs, fish and pancakes lift away. Add a small knob of butter or a splash of oil and most dishes slide out, and washing up takes a moment.
Can it handle high heat?
Yes. Coated nonstick can start giving off fumes past roughly 400°F, while this pan stays stable up to 750°F. Sear, broil or finish a dish in the oven without worrying about what the surface releases.
How much does it weigh compared with steel or cast iron?
Noticeably less than cast iron and about the same as a stainless pan, yet much harder to dent or warp. Easy to lift every day and still tough enough for years of use.
How long will it last?

Why titanium for a cutting board?
Plastic, wood, bamboo and glass all have a weak spot. Titanium has no toxins, sheds no microplastics and does not give bacteria a place to hide, and it will not warp, crack or splinter over time.
Is it hard on my knives?
No. The surface is engineered to be about 3x softer than steel, so the blade glides instead of grinding, which is far kinder to your edges than a glass or bamboo board.
Is it really cleaner than plastic or wood?
Yes. Plastic boards release tiny particles into food and knife grooves in wood can hold moisture and mould. Titanium is non-porous and inert, so nothing soaks in and nothing comes out.
Can I use it for every kind of food?
Yes. Raw meat, vegetables, citrus and fresh herbs all work, and the board does not hold on to smells, colours or residue from one ingredient to the next.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
Yes. There is no oiling routine like with wood or bamboo; put it in the dishwasher and it comes out flat, intact and ready for the next meal.
How long will it last?

How does the jar sealer work?
Place it on a mason jar fitted with one of the lids and press once. It draws the air out and leaves the jar airtight within seconds, with no bags, hoses or large machine to store.
Does it fit the jars I already have?
Yes. Regular and wide-mouth mason jars from Ball, Kerr or a supermarket brand all work, as long as the jar takes a standard lid.
How much longer does food stay fresh?
Up to 5x longer. Keeping air and moisture out helps fruit, vegetables, grains, meat and leftovers keep their taste for weeks, so less goes to waste.
Does it need batteries?
No. It charges over USB, and one full charge covers about 80-100 seals, at home or when you take it with you.
Is it suitable for every type of food?
Yes. It only uses suction, so it works for dry goods such as oats, rice and nuts as well as fresh produce, cheese and cooked meals.
